So Saap Sauce. Lao people like to say sap sap. So I wanted to make it more easy for American and other cultures to read it. So I added So to it. It means So delicious.

What are your inspirations for being in the food industry?

I been around the food industry since I was a kid because my mom worked in thai restaurant. I when to hang out at her work place as a kid. Then later at 17 I also started working in the restaurant industry. Thai food. I always want to open a restaurant before and honestly the papaya salad I’m doing now wasn’t even an idea.

What were some of your challenges being a Lao business?

The only thing, I can say is that trying to explain to customer where Lao is. Lol

What's your favorite Lao dish?

Papaya salad, Larb, Nam Khao but honestly i like them all. Except maybe 2 dishes. Lol
