What's the name of your business and how did you come up with it?
Plara Thai Lao / I just love to cook and the idea came by itself with some friends
What are your inspirations for being in the food industry?
I just love food and my country, I want to bring that love in the industry. Being a lao woman living in Thailand for many years I called my brand plara Thai Lao to show the love and respect that I have for both my countries.
What were some of your challenges being a Lao business?
The business is Thai and Lao so we didn’t have many challenges, as I said we just want to show the best of these two countries with a great quality sauce, as simple as that.
What advice would you give to someone based on your experience?
Just go for it and believe in yourself, you can achieve anything and you should always try to bring your ideas to life. Any obstacle can be overcome, remember that.
